Calcium and other heavy minerals are not eliminated by da’Kappa. It is advisable to install some form of filtration system between the water meter and da’Kappa in areas that have high concentrations of scale or heavy metals. A filtration system must be used for all installations treating ground water.

Material Requirements:
For all installations please use stainless steel or plastic sockets, bushings, unions or flanges (such as SUS/HIVP insert valve sockets). DO NOT use a copper coated cylinder or a coated joint. Use of brass is not recommended.

Always check the flow direction before installation. The water flow direction is shown using a blue arrow.

Please install the unit on or above the ground if possible.

If the unit must be buried under ground, build a box and install it inside so that it can be taken out if necessary.

When you connect to a 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch water pipe, adjust the diameter of the spout using a pushing or a nipple.

Whether you install it on/above the ground or bury it under the ground, wrap the main body and joint sections with anticorrosive tape.

When you install it on/above the ground, make sure to anchor the unit using some type of support.

When you anchor on some type of support frame, wrap the main body and the joint sections with anticorrosive tape or some protective material so that the metal parts of the main body and those of the joint sections don't touch the support directly.

Do not run water through the unit until the glue (if used) is completely dry.

Protect against freezing in colder climates using insulation.
